This is my attempt to add to the conversation about the effects of war, not only on the combatant, but also on the family members after the homecoming. The focus is on World War II, but vets and family from all wars are welcome. The boomer generation has been mainly silent about their fathers' war legacy. It is time to lift the veil of secrecy. We have had our stoic dads as role models. It is time to share with succeeding generations what we have learned about coping with the Legacy of War.
